In your upright, confident position, imagine gazing into a glistening sea, sensing everything around you, free of preconceptions and expectations. Whether positive or negative, emotions greatly affect your life. Your goal with meditation is to take a view of your life within the present.

Awareness of the present allows simplicity, and simplicity can free you from pressures forced upon your mind. Cast aside memories of the past and plans for the future, and focus on what the present moment truly is.
